# BetterLang

> BetterLang is a language-learning app built on real content: read short texts, watch videos and listen to songs in the language you are learning, tap any word to save it as a Card, and practice your Cards.

BetterLang's method is built on learning research: real input you mostly understand, every word kept in its sentence, recall instead of rereading, spaced repetition scheduled by FSRS-6 at a target recall the learner picks, sentence practice, a little writing and speaking every day, and listening with shadowing. The Method pages below explain each part with its sources and its limits; each is also served as Markdown, and https://betterlang.app/llms-full.txt holds them all in one file.
